Janette Torres

Client Management Specialist

Janette Janette is the Client Management Specialist and the Internship Coordinator at the International Trade Center. She supports the center’s client intake/analysis process and assists the consultants in their follow-up activities. Janette also manages the center’s performance and productivity as part of a set of strategies implemented by the center to fulfill the organization’s vision and goals. She also supervises, trains and manages the International Market Researcher team that supports the International Trade Center’s clients needs

Prior to joining the International Trade Center in 2006, she worked in the Manufacturing Industry, participated in various projects related to Materials Engineering, supported a range of Technology Management projects doing research and analyzing the diffusion of technology innovations in its marketplace, and assisted the Finance team of the Southwest Texas Border Region of Small Business Development Centers in the areas of budgeting, distribution of funds and allocation of resources within the 79 County Region.
